Decibel Magazine says we put out the 26th best extreme album of 2009. Thanks for including us, guys. They haven't published the list online, but other websites have spoiled the fun. Here's a link to one of them: http://sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=11654
Noisecreep also gave us a nod today. We are grateful. Andrew is indeed a legit poker player. If you wanna play while we're on tour send an email and we'll make it happen. Check it out: http://www.noisecreep.com/2009/12/02/city-of-ships-drummer-poker/
Stoked to get back on the road in the dead of winter and hit some familiar territories in the Northeast and Midwest regions. We've got a few more dates in the works but most of them are posted on the myspace page now if you want the deets.
See y'all soon,
cccCiiiityyyy of sssShhhhiiiipssss
PS: We made a dear friend in the swamps of Louisiana back in late October. Named him Ole' Snaug and gorilla glued his head to the hood of our van to keep us safe through dark times. Sadly we lost him driving through a snowstorm in Wyoming.
RIP OLE SNAUG.
