this year will be better than the last

Been putting this off for a little while now, so I expect this will be brief. Computers aren't doing it for me these days.

The recent US tour wound up a few days before the holidays began. All in all it was a good one. Our comrade/drummer Joseph had never hit the road for more than a few days before this, so the seven week tour was a trial by fire for him. Driving home on the last day he said, "Damn, I wish it wasn't over." Awesome. Endless thanks to all who booked the shows, hung out, put us up, cooked food, bought merch, etc. You know who you are.

European tour plans continue to take shape. We continue to be excited. 17 June through 1 July with Rosetta & Blindead is being booked now by tomek@asymmetry.pl. After that we'll tear through the rest of the continent between 2 - 26 July with another band TBA. If you want to help with a show get in touch with mike.persilbooking@gmail.com.

Tracking for our full-length entitled "Look What God Did to Us" begins late this month with producer Andrew Schneider in Brooklyn, NY. Should be somewhere between 9 and 12 new songs depending on how we feel about the results. Not sure who's putting it out yet, but we're hoping to have it available by early summer. Fingers crossed.

Also in the works is a split 7" with Gainesville powerhouse Liquid Limbs. We hooked up with these dudes for the first few days of the fall tour and this idea was birthed immediately. They rule on all levels. Sound Study Recordings is putting this out. They also rule on all levels. I expect the 7" will see the light of day before our full-length. More on this project soon.

We'll be back in Richmond in February looking for a place to live and trying to find ways to make some money. If you've got a couch we can crash, have availability in your practice space or know of an easy-going spot to work, please send us an email.

Spring tour dates for the US should be announced soon.

I think that's all the news that's fit to print.

Thanks for your interest.
